Hi, I’m Donnacha Costello.

I’m a Design Leader and Strategic Consultant with 25 years of design and creative experience. I like to make sense of challenging questions  in complex domains, clarify opportunities, and drive organisations and people to success through action. Whether I apply this to AI & Design, Product & Service Design, or non-design Strategic and Leadership questions, this is the core value I offer.

I’ve led, hired, and developed award-winning design teams in agency, consulting, and in-house settings, where I’ve excelled at connecting design to strategy. I most recently led design teams at Logitech as Head of Design for the Global UX Function, leading Physical and Digital Product Experience Design across the entire product portfolio.

I’ve done pioneering work in the application of AI & Design across multiple domains, through the design of AI & Human collaborative systems, and spent many years with Fjord & Accenture R&D designing these systems.

I’ve helped leaders to make high-impact strategic choices at global organisations, working on both design and non-design challenges, and bringing to bear my extensive experience in facilitation, applying a suite of methods drawn from Design, Strategic Foresight, Intelligence Analysis, and Systems Thinking.
